According to The Independent, talks will be held this week between Tottenham and Rose to establish where each party stands with regards to a transfer.

The betting market seems to think that the left-back will stay at the North London outfit, with Sky Bet shortening its odds to 1/3 on the Englishman remaining part of the squad by the time the window shuts next week.

Losing another first-team player could be detrimental to Spurs given that they have already allowed right-back Kyle Walker to leave the club.

Rose has been out of action since January due to a knee injury and it is unsure when he will be fit enough to return to Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
