da dobrowin: West Ham United announced on Thursday that they had completed the signing of Portuguese forward Xande Silva from Vitoria de Guimaraes.

da doce: Silva has signed a three-year contract with West Ham, and has become their eighth signing of what has been a very busy summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old will initially join up with West Ham’s Under-23 outfit with the view to progressing into a first-team star at the London Stadium.

The West Ham fans have been treated to a number of new signings this summer, and many took to social media in the aftermath of the Silva announcement.

Silva described himself as ‘a technical and fast player’ on West Ham’s official website, and is expected to make his debut for the club’s Under-23 side against Watford on Friday.

The youngster actually made 26 first-team appearances for Vitoria ahead of his move to West Ham, and the English club’s fans are looking forward to watching him develop.
